Eowyn's Room!

Eowyn's room was done in two stages. First we did the ceiling and the walls. Then the kids both moved in while we did the living room/kitchen, and Gideon's room. Once we finished Gideon's room, we moved both kids into his room while we finished Eowyn's room. We had it done for her birthday, and she loves it. It really is a pretty room.

It used to be white and blue, and it is the biggest room in our house, so it was Jeremy's and mine. It's not the master though. Our new bedroom has a bathroom attached to it. (I'll explain more about that when I do our bedroom post.)
The bedding I had from my mom's house. She used it in a guest bedroom, but couldn't anymore. I've always loved it (I think I picked it out) and using it for Eowyn's room was fun (and economical). All of her furniture is new (to us).
The bed I got off craigslist for $20 (not the mattress) and painted it white. The night stand actually came with a dresser (that is in my room) off of craigslist again and both were $50. Painted the night stand to match the bed and added a pop of green with the handle.

The lamp we bought at Walmart and then used up the rest of the spray paint bottle on it for some fun.

The dresser was mine when I was a little girl. So again, paint and pops of green.

Karen bought Eowyn's coat hooks at Hobby Lobby. And the "messterpiece" is by Eowyn herself.

The other side of the room holds Eowyn's trunk of toys and her desk for her school supplies. Her desk is amazing.

My mom did this for Eowyn's birthday. It has Eowyn's pictures all over the top. So cute! The desk is actually an endtable that was a friend's. And the chair was at Mom's house, got some of the green paint, and voila! a desk.
We recently had to add a trashcan to Eowyn's room. I cleaned out all of her school supplies and organized everything and found so much trash in there. She's a keeper-of-things.

Her room is still lacking some wall art and curtains. I can't decide how to do the curtains, whether white or green, or something else. I think I want to do another roman shade in there, just so no one decides to swing across the room on the curtains. So I'm still working on that!

Wow! Both rooms look great. I really like the colors that y'all chose for each room. And your mom did a great job on that table, so cute!
