Another Christmas Post!

I think the day after Christmas should be a holiday every year from now on. It's been so nice being stuck in the house all day, playing with our new toys, playing in the snow, taking a long winter nap together, and just being comfortable all day. We did miss a family get together in AL that we were disappointed about, but we did enjoy our time in the house.

Christmas morning was so much fun! Eowyn came to wake us at 8, which is her usual time. I think next year we will start having to get up earlier. But she may give us another year, who knows. Eowyn did go check to make sure Santa had come before she came to get us. She was so excited. Gideon was a little grumpy man when she and I woke him, but he cheered up after he nursed. We tortured them by making them wait until we had gotten ready, and at one point they tried to break free! This is Jeremy trying to hold them back until I got a picture.

So I snapped a picture of the tree as quickly as I could. And it looks like Santa did come to our house! They just love him.

Here they are starting out. They both received a dragon and the movie How to Train Your Dragon. (We all really liked that movie.) Eowyn also got a diaper bag filled with all the essentials for her Baby doll, an outfit with a matching one for her baby, and some school books. She was really excited about her new water bottle though. It's funny what they pick to be excited about. Gideon got a fleece shield and axe, a tractor book and puzzle, and a camo outfit so he can go deer huntin' with Daddy. (And the big box of beer is for Jeremy, just to be clear! Ha!)

Here they are digging in their stockings. The stockings held their water bottles, socks for Eowyn, and a Veggie Tales for Gideon, with some fruit.
It was a wonderful morning, the kids loved their gifts! I love Christmas!
