Christmas post

Ahh..so this is what it's like to use a computer that doesn't actually balk at the assumption that it should be able to flip through internet pages. Jeremy's parents gave us a new laptop for Christmas and it is awesome! Thank you so much Geri and Terry! The pages go so quickly, I don't have to play solitaire while I wait for each page to load. And I can even move the computer around. Right now I'm sitting on the couch. Our old computer was almost 7 years old, and even though it was great back then, 7 years is ancient in computer stuff. It was a laptop too, but the battery didn't work, and the cord was shorted so if you moved it accidentally the whole thing would just shut down. Fun to write posts, load pictures, etc on that old thing. Anyway, hopefully I will be better about posting. I lost one of my excuses anyway!

Right now the kids are watching the Polar Express. I don't love all the Christmas movies out there, but this one is fun. It has the great line about some of the most real things are things we can't see. Very true. This Christmas season has been a fun one for our family. Jeremy has had to work extra hours, but we've had lots of fun when he isn't working. We've fed seagulls in the parking lot of Ingles, we've gone to Christmas parties, we've gone to see the Dawn Treader (great movie!), we've had company, taken pictures, shopped, and lots of other things. We haven't gone to see Santa Claus though. Oh well. Another thing we haven't done is worked on the house, and it's been wonderful! We did finish putting pictures up on the walls last weekend, right before Jeremy's parents came up to visit, and even though there are a few more things I'd like to do, we are basically finished with remodeling. Jeremy says those things are things I can do when I get bored again. I'm glad that year is over!

Our Christmas pictures were so easy this year! I guess it's because our kids are getting older. It's too bad, I liked sending out the funniest Christmas pictures. Maybe we'll get a funny one next year. We were seriously done with the pictures within 5 minutes. The kids just looked perfect in the first 5. They are getting so big. I can't wait until Christmas morning, it's going to be so fun!
I hope you and yours have a very merry Christmas!
